SIGHTSEEING PLACES: The whole road that leads to Roncola, especially in the evening hours, will leave you breathless for the show that will open beneath you: thousands of lights that blend into a horizon that seems more and more distant. From Piazza Marconi and from different local districts, the panorama will not fail! The PERTUS, 10km from Roncola in the municipality of Costa V.I., is a unique observation point: in the background the Resegone mountain, on the sides the Imagna Valley and the Lecco lake. A small local pond and majestic nature. Absolutely to see. Further on, the Valcava Pass, a popular destination for many cyclists,it was the border crossing between Lecco and Bergamo

TREKKING: they are about 30km long themed paths that cross Roncola and that allow you to discover enchanted places of extraordinary beauty, like the ancient villages spread all over the territory; the San Bernardo’s church accomodates a beautiful Moroni’s altarpiece and a painting by Forabosco, while in the San Defendente’s church there is a Baschenis’s cycle of frescoes dating back to the 15th century. Challenging, but just as beautiful, the path CAI 571 that allows to reach Mount Linzone at high altitude. An hiking of about 2h, but that will ensure spectacular views at 1400m above the Plains.


CAVES AND NATURAL MUSEUMS: The Imagna Valley preserves an underground world of incredible beauty, magnificent caves will surprise you: GROTTA EUROPA between Bedulita and Roncola; TOMBA DEI POLACCHI by Rota Imagna and GROTTA IL FORGNONE of Brumano (Gruppo Speleo Valle Imagna). Do not forget the Valle del Brunone an area rich in paleontological deposits, dating back to the Upper Triassic. The very accessible paths make the area easy to visit.
